Database (or Data Base) is a ordered set of information (data) stored on the memory medium. In a broader sense they are part of the database and software tools that allow manipulation of saved data and access to them. This software we says in Czech literature called the database management system (DBMS). Normally we says database name - depending on the context - think how the stored data, and software (DBMS).
